Sometimes it's a struggle to match when you're wearing a color close to but not-quite black -- like super dark brown or dark navy blue. You can't go head-to-toe with those colors -- i.e. you really can't wear a brown dress, brown tights, and brown shoes, just like you can't wear a navy dress, navy tights and navy shoes.
