Graceful Sophisticated Beautiful Elegant Refined Classic Chic Confident Tailored MY STYLE: A mix of Jackie Onassis + Audrey Hepburn + Ralph Lauren with touches of Coco Chanel. I love to mix American & Parisian influences in the outfits I style. MY WARDROBE RULES: I follow my "wardrobe rules" in the creation of my signature style. I start with a foundation of basics and essentials, in colors & shapes that flatter my figure. Then I build my own style statement by layering &/or adding other pieces along with a few unique accessories, a great bag and a pair of shoes. Style is falling in love with individual pieces and mixing them in with the many other things you already have, to create a vast multitude of looks and uses for a single item. MY SHOPPING PHILOSOPHY: When shopping for a new item, I keep in mind what items I currently have in my wardrobe that this new item can be mixed with. MY SHOP STYLE "CLOSET" ARRANGEMENT: Instead of arranging my Shop Style page by outfits I chose to arrange my page by purpose (career, gym, beach vacation etc) then I broke that down further by the category of clothing (cardigans, casual slacks, etc). My closet is organized very much in the same way. I prefer to see my selections and set-up my page this way because great style is more than finding a great piece and putting together a single outfit / look. Viewing my favorite items this way also helps me be more selective when shopping for a particular article of clothing or accessory because I know what is out there & what I want. I want that!
