Hi All,
I'm a twenty-something year old Canadian who wishes she could tan... and own more pieces of couture (though God only knows where I would wear them). My style is quite eclectic. I love to mix styles; elegant and edgy, classic and casual, rock and hippie chic. I'm all over the map... but somehow everything seems to come together eventually. ;p For me style is more than just wardrobe and makeup. Style also consists of verbal and non-verbal communication as well as etiquette. Style is not something that changes with season and trends, it is eternal. Once a woman is stylish she will always be so. The same can't be said about being fashionable, unfortunately. :( Too many fun trends, too little time. :9 I love to style other people; it gives me a chance to play with fashion I wouldn't gravitate to when shopping for myself - and it lets me find new ways to make people look and feel beautiful and confident. So, I guess I'm the kind of person who always needs a creative outlet; whether it be styling friends, or writing and recording music. ________________________ July 17 2010 I'm Back!!! After being absent for over a year (May 09... seriously?) I doubt may of you remember me, but I certainly remember all of you and your awesomely wonderful creativity!! Getting sick has made me realize that everyone needs an outlet to explore their own inspirations and individuality - and I know that SS can definitely help me to stretch my fashion muscle. And maybe help me decide if I want a future in fashion... who knows..... I'm a stylist and musician at heart, but I work as a Benefits and Pensions Analyst. After all the challenges I've faced - and continue to face - I know one thing. I want to find something that I love to do... and do it. A lot of introspective thinking has made me awfully cheesy!
