I typically only wear a swimsuit at night, but this outfit was inspired by Carrie Bradshaw sitting at the pool one night in Los Angeles. Cliche to cite Carrie as an inspiration? Sure. But was the outfit cute and wearable? Definitely.

Both looks are beautiful, feminine, and a little tough. I love both the BCBG dress and Twenty8Twelve dress. Wear either one with the earrings, Loeffler Randall enevelope clutch, Juicy Couture Bangle, and with the shoes beneath each picture.

I love this ruffled yellow top with a pair of wide leg jeans, cropped silk taffeta jacket, purple Chloe bag, and gold accessories and flats. This outfit is the West Coast way to see a movie like Ironman or What Happens In Vegas.
