I'm 27 years young and have adored dressing up since I was a little girl, clopping around in my mother's high heels and fur jackets. I studied woven textiles at degree and am now running a fashion website which is getting re-launched in September. I mostly wear clothing from vintage stores, or charity shop as I love the fact that nobody else has a copy. I don't like conciously thinking about trends I just wear whatever flatters my figure, skin tone etc. I'm inspired by my mother, the vast amount of travelling I have done whilst growing up and my favourite blogger, whom I have only recently come across The Sartorialist. So that's my intro, I hope you enjoy my Looks. :-)

Alice takes style advice from her friend the Mad Hatter, still girly and feminine but with a darker side.The lace body is to be worn underneath the dress and to be seen at the back, to add layering and texture to the outfit. I love seeing a woman in a top hat, I think they look decadent and beautiful.

Rather than bring out my eyes and flatter my skin tone, I decided to bring out those of the baboon. Except in this case its his teeth and gums. I chose the shoes for colour and tooth like appearance and wooly hat for its gummy pink tone. This girl is tough - don't mess.

I love this type of look, as it's high fashion, but its still comfortable! I haven't got myself any leather/pvc legging yet, but they look terribly uncomfortable so I've teamed them with a really cozy knit slouchy jumper. I love the messenger bag satchel which I imagine strap across the chest. I do a lot of running around in my job so it's got to be the moccasin type shoe. I'm really feeling the whole ethnic jewelry and beads at the moment, especially in contrast with European fashion. Always wear a big ring, they make your hands look small! And they are great if if you need to defend yourself! And I just simply couldn't go anywhere without Rayban.
