Here is a look I created for my 9-year-old daughter, nicknamed Kitten. Yep, the dress goes over the tank, and she'd wear the jacket open...Kitten is the most stylish gal I know. Oh, and she never wears shoes if she can get away with it, so...no shoes!
This would be a good casual Friday outfit for my office. The jeweled trim on the dress, peeking out from the cowl neckline on the blouse, would be a neat twist. I'd wear the belt cinched a bit lower on the waist...not quite to the hip though.
I'd wear this on a solo trip to the art museum. Comfy, a bit offbeat, one extra layer for the a/c, and leggings in case I want to curl up on a bench and spend 20 minutes gazing at my favorite Mondrian!
