I love Vancouver BUT sometimes the fashion is a bit embarrassing - all fleece and gortex and birkenstocks. I'm constantly trying to put together a sporty, outdoorsy look that doesn't involve any of those elements. The lacoste sneakers are so cool!

Right now, in Vancouver where I live, it's sweater weather. Too hot for a jacket, too cold for just a t-shirt. You need a few classic cardigans in your wardobe for in between seasons like this. This one is kind of a dream cardigan because it's got such a nice shape plus it's cashmere...so pretty!

I think a striped scarf around your neck or as a headband is a good way to add an interesting detail to this season's little white dress. You need to keep the accessories simple, but this kind of makes the outfit more fun...

Everyone needs a casual weekend go-to outfit that looks good but something you can pound the pavement in for hours at a time if your plan is to power-shop. The skinny leg with flats is a good idea, but I think it makes a big difference if you jazz it up with a eye-catching jacket.
