A full time mother of 2, I struggle to find time to nurture my inner fashionista while I nurture my 2 young boys (who hate to shop!) As for my style, I love keeping it a little out of the box, sometimes too out there for my husband and those in my part of Maryland. My one style weakness is that I am occasionally guilty of trying to do too much with one outfit. But I truly believe that it is only by taking risks that you can achieve something great. And also that there are worse things in life than committing a fashion don't.

My summer uniform is perfect because it combines some of the season's trends with functionality. Perfect for mothers with kids in tow and for those who never got over the grunge/punk look of the early 90s.
With two young boys constantly in tow, my summer uniform combines functionality -- flat shoes, a cross-body bag, and incorporates some of my favorite summer trends -- plaids, summer booties, wooden jewelry, cutoff jeans, and pops of color.

Oddly enough, the outfit is very remniscent of my early 90's grunge/punk uniform.
