We're celebrating a big promotion. This calls for a dressy dinner with cocktails beforehand this Friday night. I am still working on the top and handbag...haven't found 'em yet.

Thanks, girl, I love your style, btw.
I love the pale tones with gold - perfect for the holidays (or a promotion celebration!)
Brilliant! Love it all!

Pulling out all stops to make heads turn. One more month to showcase your hard work at the gym and the glow on your skin by baring your shoulders and stretching your gams (shorts and plats). All combined to convey a sweetly feminine, but not too sugary, look.

Meeting the girls for dinner

I am going for a glammy boho look here. The event you ask? Well, I'm meeting my girls for an early dinner at a wine bar/oven-fired pizza place (actually gets reviews as the Best-in-the-country) to celebrate a bday. Even though the evening's about someone else, I just can't let anyone down and not make an utterly fabulous entrance, now can I??? I'm wearing my hair pulled back in a low chignon, nudey--but glossy--lips, and dark smudgy eye makeup.

Great look! I love really high heels/platforms like the ones you chose.
Thanks much! I have an affliction for very tall heels...it's a vice.
Spot on! Great!

Cupcake hunt

My fiancee and I have a little cupcake hobby. We are in an eternal search to find the best happiness-in-a-cup
in each major metropolitan city. I limit myself to two at a time, so I can still fit in my tight jeans and I typically try a Red Velvet and whatever the shop's specialty is; my fiancee (Ed) is more of a traditionalist and samples a chocolate with buttercream frosting. It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it.
