Love: vintage, victorian, deco, the colour orange, the movie "harold and maude", farmhouses, hooded sweaters, silk and cashmere, my 6'4" boyfriend, friends and family, the few heirlooms I inherited, fiber art and crocheting and muscle cars, in particular Chevy. and Anthropologie, flowers and floral tattoos, handblown glass witch's balls, artisan made jewelry, perfume oils, stationery sets, calligraphy, autumn, clouds at sunset, the beach, the mountains, driving, antique charm bracelets, b&w photos, iderdowners, old books, chocolate, dried apricots, queen anne's lace, violet mints, Phinomenal red perfume, french manicures, friendly but not creepy strangers, little old ladies, and french bulldogs, museums(all kinds, space being my least favorite) rain, lightning and thunder, scenic routes, baking, aprons, clean sheets, handkerchiefs, sleeping in, porches, packages in the mail (surprises from friends), mohair teddy bears, making doll clothes and lemonade, pickle sandwiches, picnics, photography, Gothic architecture, mother of pearl buttons, origami, bats(all, especially fruit bats, the epaulleted fruit bat, in particular, it's a blonde colour), opals, carnelian, pearls, labradorite, moonstones, and dark jade, thrift and antique stores, east lake rockers, chaise lounges, bonfires, tulip trees, bunny rabbits, forensics shows, texting, Billie Holiday and Screamin' J Hawkins, mauve, and crysallis of monarch butterflies and a great pair of fleece wide leg sweatpants (like Juicy Couture), shrugs and french fries, the Cottington Fairies.

Dislike: motorcyclists who don't wear helmets, motorcyclist that do endos on a busy st., loud noises, smudgy ink, polyester, nylon(they make me itch), bras, pleather, purple crushed velvet (the cheap fabric) mini skirts on girls under 18, wearing shoes, brushing my hair, primary colours solely together, potholes, and food that wasn't my order, bumper stickers, the word 'hate' and hemming all my pants.

I can't wait to get this top! I know I really shouldn't be buying things but I had to. www.letrainbleu.com
Wide leg jeans are so flattering and comfy. What more could one want....skinny legs are cute but I feel too confined. I do a-lot of sitting on the floor and indian style, so they have to be easy.
I love Ajentorange's style...It's so much more refined than mine. But thank you! I am glad you like it. I don't have many friends that dress like me...so sometimes I feel a bit strange.
aww dear just to drop by say thank you for ur lovly vist.. ur lovly comments made my day..you always welcome my ss book anytime you feel like.. just love ur style, thats what i usually prefer wear everyday like mind even some people here not like our style like..specially wide leg pants part .. to me they are the best comfy and stylish thing ..we all lucky we got great long legs for it.. haha .. but anyway am glad find you and ajen who are same page like me.. thats what friends about..anyway keep up good work darling , I vist you more often whenever I can..although I missed your looks latly seem like.. I blame my slow computer bit which hard to browse everyone looks these days..anyway good night and stay all warm and keep making them fab looks for us..
I'm refined? Well, thank you, I try. I love your style, probably because it is so much like mine, so I think you are a genius.
The top is lovely. I may be going to Portland this weekend and they have so many cute boutiques like letrainbleu.
I'm scared the underpants may make me look like I am wearing a diaper. Or they would make my thighs look even larger.
Do share what you purchase if you buy anything this weekend. I'm still swooning over Mountain Rain.

I think I am feeling extra "hippie-dippie" lately but I really love this sweater coat...such hideous 70's plaid is seeming irrestible to me! Oh, and these boots are.....BOSS! Lol! I know I have a rotten sense of humor!

New Waver is my current boyfriend...hahaha!
Those New Wavers are a bit mental...
My husband is like if exotica/tiki, 70's Burt Reynolds and a steam punk if that combo is possible.

I still keep in touch with my very first boyfriend...of whom I still have a major crush. I'm sure he can tell but who knows. I hope he doesn't. Although it would be kind of nice if he felt the same way. He still mentions things from when we dated in a sort of jealous manner. I am going to see him in about a week...and, of course I want to look good. If ever I couldn't figure out what to wear! I don't want to scare him and go all prom, I don't want to look like a slob and I definetly don't want to go business meeting/power-suit! I want to look the way I am most of the time. But suddenly I feel like that doesn't look great. I am so confused. I know I shouldn't be so excited. I have known him since the first grade. I haven't seen him in a couple years but I really want to look great in case it's another couple years!

Relationships are so complicated. I wasn't telling my story to be all like "it's easy" or anything. I know it is so difficult. My husband and I are super compatible but we still have to work at this relationship stuff. Plus, I am totally aware that this marriage thing could of been horrible and I know not to be too naive because I believe nobody gets married thinking it will end in divorce. So, I just work hard, ignore the small stuff, and remember every sweet and special moment.
I can't imagine how difficult it is to date. It is so hard to "read" people and it take a lot of time to get to know someone and then you may find out it isn't right.
I really wish you the best during this time. Stay strong, focused on what is important to you, and don't obsess. Things like this will "fall" into place if we let them go. Step back and be rational.
You and Ruksana are my saviours today. I really try not to be obsessive....it's something I have to fight very hard with on a-lot of things but not with him! I haven't seen him in 5 years because I wanted to make sure I wasn't obsessing but I know he's where I really belong. If he doesn't feel the same, I'll be ok with it.
On the dating thing...yeah, I don't really know how to do that. My last date before I met N was strange. It was like "AJ" was a mix between my first and second boyfriends...it was really weird, all the sweetness of the first and all the interests and immmaturity of the second...it didn't turn into much.
I don't think Ajent, that you were saying there aren't any complications, it wouldn't be a life if there weren't. But you know where you belong right now. Right now if things fall into place and don't work out later, that's ok, too. Effort is a major part of me...I think that's why gift-giving is so appealing.
Thank you, both, again..
Ruksana, all the love in
