I've been thinking a lot lately about fashion faux pas and ways to debunk them.
Is it possible to pull off head to toe gold? I wouldn't have thought so! But if you use a variety of textures and shades, and mix down-to-earth fabrics with just a sliver of lamé, i think its possible to look chic without coming off as "nouveau riche."
of course, i could be crazy. so don’t let me tell you that you can’t wear your gold lamé spandex catsuit if you feel like it. because if i ever win the lottery, the first thing i’m going to do is buy a big box of gold leaf just to see what it feels like to be covered with nothing but. and then i’ll do the dishes.
