I have been dying to do a look like this ever since I saw that top hat and cane. I don't know about you all, but I had to watch exerpts from "Young Frankenstein" in upper school when we were reading Mary Shelley's work. I vividly remember bursting out laughing at this scene and being unable to control my laughter... just the thought of Frakenstein's muffled "uttin on da itz" still makes me giggle.

This mother-daughter look is inspired by the blood oranges of California. The items span the spectrum of colors found in blood oranges. The scarf is to be used as a sarong. Most of the beauty products have something to do with oranges. Otherwise, they fit into the color scheme. The L.V. charm is to be worn on the necklace chain.

Here's a look for an evening out when it's chilly, but you want to look hot. As you can see from the picture, Jackie O. herself once donned a similar ensemble. The spotting of the leopard print is carried throughout the look in the heels, jewelry, and even the purse-sized perfume spray. The key pouch and key ring will ensure that you can get into your home/hotel even if you get a bit tipsy. The false lashes finish off the look, sealing the deal on a legendary look.
(Some of the stars of today could learn a thing or two about getting out of a car from this picture...)

The picture is of Audrey Hepburn in a ballet studio. I think this look is similar to something she might have worn. This is that's at once comfortable and feminine. The tank is long enough so you don'ty have to worry about your derrière in leggings. The cardigan serves as a ballet-like cover up. I had the big version of the messenger bag and it was one of my favorites. It served me well for class and weekend travel and just about anything else. The pretty pink ribbon items help raise funds for the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation.

There are so many different themes that I see and feel just looking as the seperate pieces. Something as simple as the cotton thongs give me a feeling of fragile & delicate, but bold, which I always associated with the nature of Audrey Hepburn. And the additon of the breast cancer awareness ribbons...Absolutely moving!
