The focus of this look is a silk print dress by Diane von Furstenberg - a lovely mix of winter blue, gray, burgundy and black. I accessorized with sheer stay-ups from Falke (complete with a hidden sexy art nouveau print) and great patent booties from Report Signature. The sheer stockings give the boots a visual pop.
The dress is topped with a slim lapel blazer in black (pictured in gold) and a little black beaded jewel-box of a bag by Antik Batik.

I centered my ladylike look around this floral print silk blouse from Elie Tahari. The deep emerald, royal purple and burgundy tones in the print are quintessential winter floral - rich and comforting. I then added a warm layer with the black Falke merino tights. Remove the belt from the blouse and it can be neatly tucked under the heavyweight silk box pleat skirt.
I topped the blouse and skirt with a gray wool ruffle jacket from Loeffler Randall. The jacket has cool undertones which complement the purple and plum tones of the blouse. I then added a pair of suede crisscross berry sandals, also from Loeffler Randall. The suede adds a textural contrast to the silk elements in the outfit and as with the jacket, also complements the deep purple tones in the blouse.
For a finishing touch, I added a muted purple suede clutch from Dautore. The clutch, along with the metallic headband from Eugenia Kim adds polish to the overall look. Thanks for your consideration!

For me, grunge aesthetic is about rebellion and deconstruction. The new grunge of 2008 is still textured and layered but a bit sleeker than its predecessor. I centered my look around a great pair of deconstructed skinny jeans from Current/Elliot. The wash and distressing makes the jeans appear as if they've been rocked out for ages. I paired the jeans with a cool white tank and black studded gladiator sandals to elongate the silhouette and add a touch of tough-chic. I kept the accessories simple: an of-the-moment (and secretly utilitarian) cashmere beanie and silver studs that echo the stud work on the gladiators. I finished the look with an awesome chevron blanket jacket from Thread Social. The shape of the hip-length jacket compliments the slim silhouette of the jeans and the slightly nubby textured wool is a fab (and warmer) alternative to a plain jane flannel. Thanks for your consideration!

Since I selected a statement coat with a lot of volume, I paired it with simple skinny jeans tucked into buttery leather boots. The french lace top has plenty of vintage flair with an updated silhouette. The gold accessories warm up the dark color palette and add sparkle. The shoulder bag is both practical and appropriately of-the-moment. While I feel these pieces work together beautifully for this particular look, they are also quality pieces which could be easily integrated into any wardrobe with major staying power. Thank you for considering my look!
