SS Parties: Uncle Thomas' Halloween Gala at Versailles

Since the party is held at the Palace of Versailles, I thought I would come as the character Oscar from one of my favorite Japanese graphic novels "La Rose de Versailles."

According to the story, Oscar is a girl who was brought up as a boy because her father wanted a son. She is an expert swordsman and eventually becomes the leader of the palace guards. She is also the close confidante of Marie Antoinette.

It's been a decade (or two...gosh that makes me feel old) since I've read these books, or even thought about it. I did a quick research and saw there is a DVD version of now, so I'm checking if the library or video store has it available for me to borrow and watch. I've also heard the books are pretty historically accurate, which is nice for a graphic novel.

SS Parties: Lali88's Beyonce "Irreplaceable" Inspired Look Party

	This look was inspired by Beyonce's "Irreplaceable" music video. In the video, Beyonce shows off her killer bod in a bra, pencil skirt and black pumps.
