In order to show off the crazy colors in Carrie's shoes and clothes, dark furniture was chosen. One accent wall will have a splash of color and pattern and the rest of the walls will be painted a color from the patterned paper. The eclectic look of Carrie's apartment reflects her changing mood and slight impulsiveness.

My powder room would be a soothing, wood-filled room with soy-wax candles and a radio playing soothing music. I would have a wall mounted magazine rack and a bench to put down a tray of tea and cookies or some coffee. I went with some comfy and absorbent bamboo towels in an olive green to match the round rug to put near the clawfoot tub. Continuing the round theme, I have a beautiful spherical light to hang above the tub, a wood-cut mirror and a round tray for coffee or tea.
