BCBG by Max Azria
BCBG is an international ladies fashion brand founded in 1989 by Tunisian designer Max Azria. BCBG stands for "Bon chic, bon genre," which is French for "good style, good attitude." In addition to couture gowns made popular on the red carpet by celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Halle Berry, the BCBG Max Azria Group now encompasses over twenty different brands. While they produce a variety of products, BCBG is best known for women's evening wear, shoes, and handbags.
BCBG handbags come in a variety of styles, including clutches, shoulder bags, hobo bags, satchels, and totes. While BCBG handbags are designed and priced for the everyday woman, celebrities and online influencers have further popularized the brand in recent years.
Both Dove Cameron and Katherine McNamara were spotted recently sporting structured clutch BCBG handbags. Cameron, a singer and actress famous for playing both of the title roles in the Disney channel show Liv and Maddie, was photographed with her BCBG Stacey Metal Cage Hard clutch at the 2017 Image Makers awards. Katherine McNamara, most known for her role as Sonya in the Maze Runner trilogy, attended a charity event wearing a BCBG Theodora Metal Cage clutch.
BCBG is known for producing unusual structured evening bags, like the understated Quincy Box Clutch, a plastic and metal clutch that appears to be made entirely of wood, or the Raine evening bag, a silver clutch studded with three-dimensional dots.
While embellished and enameled clutches are a trend predicted to continue into 2018, BCBG also offers affordable versions of the eponymous 'box bag' trend that graced many designer runways this fall. The Chantelle is a quilted suede structured round bag that comes in two highly pigmented shades: persimmon and ultramarine.
In short, BCBG handbags are trendy and affordable designer bags valued by celebrities and customers alike.
