Jorge Chato Castillo Taxco Mexico iconic parrot designed martini pitcher with matching stirrer, circa 1950s. The pitcher and stirrer are a silver/nickel alloy combined with abalone accents. Jorge is the brother of Antonio Castillo and himself an award winning designer in Taxco Mexico from the 1950s. There is black mark on the side of the pitcher that does not polish out. Antique Star of David Sarreguemines Majolica Tavern Pitcher.Made by the Sarreguemines Majolica Factory in the east of France, my book says that the makersmark was used from 1834 until about 1890. If this was made between 1870-1890 the town of Sarreguemines was German, it became once again French after WWI in 1918. That is why I put both in the Country of Origin.
