Minted Kids Bedroom
Inspired by my fly fishing husband, On the Fly showcases the beauty and uniqueness that fish and flies have. This series is made with an avid outdoorsman in mind and is perfect for any baby or child's room. This is the first in a four part series!
Coming from a family with a passion for rowing and being on the water, I love the colours and designs of different oars and the traditions they represent. I wanted to create a piece that celebrates teamwork, and the joy of the sport. I took inspiration from classic blade designs and updated them for a contemporary feel.
Art prints inspired by all the joy and love our son has brought into our lives since the day he was born. This elegant watercolor art print will be a great addition to your child's room or nursery. It displays your little one's initial (one letter) and his/her name at the bottom.
I wanted to present a whimsical and colorful world for kids to enjoy. I chose to illustrate the continents and oceans by their amazing animals and plants. I loved learning more about the different regions while painting this, and I hope little ones will learn from it as well.
The king of the jungle is happy and proud in this colorful art print. This illustration is one of a series of happy animal prints. This series features bright and cheerful colors in hopes to bring joy and light to your little one's room. The "Happy Animals" collection is perfect for nursery room, children room or playroom.
Inspired by the Chinese Zodiacs, the monkey is known to be intelligent, ambitious and adventurous. Loose brush strokes and a clean, neutral palette bring this all around lovable and playful jungle creature to life, perfect for any whimsy space. .
This piece is one of a series that I created on a visit to Malibu Lagoon State Beach (also known as Surfrider Beach, which sits next to the infamous Malibu Pier). Surfrider Beach has a long-standing reputation as a premier surfing beach, but I've observed surfers of all levels doing their thing here. FYI: It was dedicated as the first World Surfing Reserve in 2010, having been established as a California State Park in 1951. Artist's note: I wanted to reflect the area's age-old surfing history, so I used a filter to create a vintage effect.
Inspired by the northern California coastline, this digital collage combines simplified shapes and soft watercolor textures to convey a relaxed West Coast vibe. Offered in two colorways, evoking either day or night, this print is gender-neutral and can easily work in any space.
San Fran is a modern, colorful art print depicting the iconic images of San Francisco, California including the Golden Gate Bridge, a cable car climbing up hill and the bay. This illustrated print is a playful and cheery addition to any wall.
This is my take on the classic alphabet print. Because I had children's rooms and nurseries in mind when I created the alphabet, I experimented with fuzzy, almost chalk-like hand lettering, which resulted in an alphabet that's whimsical and modern.
My work is usually very nostalgic and with this piece, I was inspired by timeless children's toys. I decided to go bold and graphic with the use of the classic children's dinosaur figurines, making them pop against the white background. I used the negative space to create subtle vignettes with the animals interacting with each other, while still looking strewn about as if on a child's floor. I was inspired by my son and wanted to create artwork I would like to hang in his room.
For as long as I can remember I have loved flowers, their natural beauty inspires me everyday. Florals have always found their way into my art, my home, my mind and they probably always will. I created this fun whimsical illustration for all the little girls who dream of adventure and discovering beauty and inspiration with their best buddy coming along for the ride.
Year of the Rabbit: 2011, 1999, 1987, 1975, 1963, 1951, 1939. This baby rabbit is one of a series of 'baby animal' prints. This is also under my 'chinese zodiac' series. This piece is suitable for nursery room or children room and would be perfect on its own or with any of the accompanying pieces in the series.
Ever want to remind your guests and yourself to watch what you say in front of the little ones? This playful, typographic art print was inspired by just that, and features a nod to retro-vintage colors and kitchenware. A fun, versatile art piece for either the playroom/nursery or even the family dining room.
This charming, gender neutral print has fun with "the fox says" verbiage and is intended to be a sweet addition to any young child's room. An organic border paired with rustic texture gives this piece whimsical warmth and charm. The hand drawn fox is perfect for a woodland-themed nursery.
In my many years of architecture study and later in professional setting exercises in paper folding were as ubiquitous as pulling an allnighter. The fascination with translating 3D objects into their most simple form using flat sheets of paper taught me how to look at something and break it down into a few simple planes. Origami is an art and with my Paper animal series I intended to capture the essence of my sons favorite animals. Paper animal series brings you your favorite animals to life in origami form.
When Jack started using words it was a monumental event. Well, a series of events. It happened gradually of course, but soon we discovered that one word covers several things. For example, moon, balloon and ball sound very much the same. I know the difference of course but the rest of the world is very much ignorant to the ever so slight subtleties of his toddler language. This art print is for all the babies talking!
This collection is called Food Play -- first and foremost, Food Play is fun.Its not about something heavy or a hidden meaning; you dont have to know the discourse of art history. All that is required? An appetite to smile. Each watercolor focuses on a single food item generally something relatively iconic and places it front and center in white space. With a moment in the spotlight, every cheeseburger, ice cream cone, donut is immortalized, idealized, and positioned to tell its story.
This minimal fine art print of a watercolor on canvas painting is inspired by a vibrant landscape. The direct and bold composition and coloring lends to an exuberant feeling. Would make a perfect addition to a gallery wall or as a stand-alone statement piece.
A cheerful lion, perfect for any girl or boy's room. He has a large heart to show someone how much you love them. This brave and loving guy is part of a series of cheerful animals that are great prints to mix and match and make your own cheerful zoo.
