French collective Vetements manages to balance structure with directionality for innovative pieces like this blue shirt. It's made from lightweight cotton and features a light-blue and white striped underlay giving the impression of a double layered look. It's finished with a patch pocket and curved hem and fits true to size.

Mr Demna Gvasalia often cites his teenage musical interests as a big part of his design inspiration, and we reckon he must have been taking cues from a grunge-loving phase when he came up with this Vetements shirt. Cut for an oversized fit, this checked cotton-flannel piece has a full quilted lining so it doubles up as outerwear, too.

Demna Gvasalia and his Vetements team understand that if you're going to include denim in a collection, you've got to bring a totally fresh perspective to it - and that's exactly what they continue to do in collaboration with American giant Levi's. Applying the cut and sew technique that is Paris-based brand's signature, this jacket is panelled around the body and sleeves and intended for a slim fit that almost looks shrunken. Vetements founder Mr Demna Gvasalia draws on styles that had prevalence during his teens, and we can certainly imagine the designer sporting a shell jacket like this one in years gone by. It's printed with the brand's logo in a reference to classic streetwear emblems of the '90s and accented by reflective piping. Demna Gvasalia's irreverent approach comes through in this mid-blue Vetements double-back reworked jacket. It's crafted from denim to a trademark oversized fit with dropped shoulders and exaggerated sleeves. On one side sits a simple two pocket light-blue denim shirt and on the other a mid-blue denim utility-style jacket with contrasting sleeves. Switch between the two options for versatile streetwear-inspired edits.

Vetements joins forces with sportswear giant Umbro for a selection of pieces for its SS18 collection including this navy nylon hooded jacket. The relaxed shape is anchored by a funnel neck alongside long sleeves that end in elasticated cuffs. The house's two prominent logos - the printed Vetements name and Umbro's double-layer diamond - are emblazoned across the front and feature in jacquard across the waistband trim; a modern riff on Demna Gvasalia's logomania. Straight from the provocative AW17 runway show these Vetements jeans offer completely different front and back views within the same classic mid-rise straight-leg cut.
