We made the Wind Shield Gloves because the screaming meemies suck. Low-profile, wind-blocking, modern-functionality gloves, the Wind Shields are finely mapped for ultimate dexterity and protection against the cold while running, cycling or Nordic skiing. We’ve updated them to be warmer, and we now use recycled polyester as the main fabric. The back of the hand is windproof, while the rest of the fingers, palm and wrist are lined with a warm, stretchy, wicking polyester/spandex jersey fleece. The palms and palm-side of the thumb, index and middle fingers have a synthetic microsuede overlay for protection and a durable grip. The panels of the thumb and index finger are lined with magic to allow the transmission of touch to your smartphone or music player, making you wonder if one of these days they’ll figure out how to put a man on the moon. With a DWR (durable water repellent) finish and Polygiene® permanent odor control.
At some point haven’t we all had to use a pair of those generic work gloves from the hardware store? Ill-fitting, boxy and stiff, they often make our tasks more difficult and our hands less comfortable. Not so with Hestra's Goatskin Drivers Work gloves. Made of incredibly supple yet durable goatskin leather, they have a next-to-skin fit that flexes naturally and allows all the dexterity you need whether you’re facing the rush hour commute from behind the wheel or chopping kindling in preparation for the upcoming cold snap. Tough, comfortable and built for the full range of daily fingery tasks, they feature elastic at the wrist to keep them in place and a soft feel that customizes over time to fit the specific shape of your hand.
The Patagonia Synchilla Glove offers a cozy refuge for your fingers when you're shoveling snow, walking to work, or waiting for the car to warm up. Soft Synchilla fleece traps heat and wicks moisture to keep your hands toasty, and abrasion-resistant fingertip and palm overlays help you keep a firm grip on icy snow shovels and frozen steering wheels. These simple, fingerless gloves (with cut-out palm for grip and sensitivity) replace liquid sunscreen with lightweight, fast-drying 88% recycled polyester/12% spandex fabric and 30-UPF sun protection.
When you're fishing in cold conditions, you need to keep your fingers nimble enough to tie knots and grip line. Our Homepool Fingerless Gloves warm the hands, protect against stinging slush and—most importantly—the open palms provide direct contact with cork for maximum grip and sensitivity. Made from toasty 2.5mm neoprene with a 95% polyester (51% recycled)/5% spandex inverted microgrid insulated lining, the Homepools give you everything your hands need in cold weather without losing touch. They come in handy in warmer weather, too—the Homepools just happen to double as perfect beverage cozies.
Just because you’re breaking ice out of your guides and your hands are stiffening up doesn’t mean it’s time to quit. It’s just time to pull on our Shelled Insulator Fingerless Gloves and enjoy the solitude. Windproof and water-resistant, this 3-layer, stretch-woven, polyester soft-shell fabric sheds weather and envelops your hands in warmth. Thumb and first two fingertips are free to tie knots, handle line, and when you’re rewarded for your perseverance, release fish. The double-layer palm stands up to long days on the oars or tiller. There’s also a molded back panel for enhanced fit and comfort, reinforced fingertips (on the ring and pinkie fingers) and pull loops to make glove removal easy.
These light, partially fingerless gloves are made from quick-drying, 30-UPF, 88% recycled polyester/12% spandex fabric, offering an ideal combination of comfort and sun protection. A slightly longer finger design, complemented by pull tabs, makes them easy to slip on and off; reinforced palms and out-of-the-way seams offer elevated function and durability.
When days finally start growing longer, don’t let cold hands keep you off the water. With our toasty R1® Gloves, your hands stay warm and nimble even in the freezing rain, icy wind and cold water of early season fishing. The thin, flexible 1.5mm smooth-skin neoprene outer stops wind and shrugs off moisture, while the fast-drying 100% recycled polyester lining locks in warmth. Three-panel, stitched-and-glued construction with anatomically placed seams provides remarkable formfitting comfort, dexterity and durability.
We keep a pair of these classic cool-weather gloves with us all year long for backpacking, off-season trail running and everyday winter tasks. Constructed from midweight Synchilla® fleece (solids and heathers: 80–85% recycled polyester), they wick moisture and dry quickly to keep your hands warm in a wide range of conditions. Elastic wrists seal out the cold and abrasion-resistant overlay panels reinforce the thumbs, fingertips and palms.
