Patagonia Women's Outerwear
Built for hard work in chilly weather, our Iron Forge Hemp® Canvas Barn Coat is made from a strong and supple 55% industrial hemp/27% recycled polyester/18% organic cotton cloth that’s 25% more abrasion resistant than conventional cotton duck canvas and needs no break-in. One of the world’s strongest natural fibers, the hemp content provides superior toughness and durability; the recycled polyester and organic cotton provide a soft hand and allow a tighter weave for increased abrasion resistance. With a roomy fit for freedom of movement, the interior of the jacket is insulated with 100-g Thermogreen® 100% polyester (92% recycled) for toasty warmth; the front zipper has an oversized pull for easy operation with work gloves or cold hands, and a full-length wind flap over the zip closes securely with snaps to keep the wind out. The collar is made of 100% organic cotton corduroy, and two buckle straps can be cinched down for a custom fit through the sides and back. The left chest has a drop-in patch pocket, with a snap-closure pocket on the right; the two large lower handwarmer pockets are lined with brushed fleece to give chilly hands a break. Cuffs have adjustable snap closures. Fair Trade CertifiedTM sewn.
With strategically sized baffles and princess seams, the Down With It Jacket creates a body- slimming silhouette that defies down’s billowy reputation. The shell is made from 100% recycled polyester treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish and insulated with Traceable Down (600-fill-power duck down traced from parent farm to apparel factory to help ensure the birds that supply it are not force-fed or live-plucked). The insulated, removable hood secures with sturdy plastic snaps and a wind flap conceals the front zip. Welted, on-seam handwarmer pockets have zip closures. An interior zip chest pocket secures valuables. Hip length.
Our Down Sweater is featherweight and superbly compressible. The 100% polyester ripstop shell on this down jacket does more than look sharp; it’s snow-shedding and windproof. Details include 800-fill-power Traceable Down (European goose down traced from parent farm to apparel factory to help ensure the birds that supply it are not force-fed or live-plucked), stabilized with quilted-through construction, a contoured fit, a drawcord hem that tightens from inside the zippered handwarmer pockets and an interior chest pocket that doubles as a zippered stuffsack with a carabiner clip-in loop. Nylon-bound elastic cuffs seal in heat, and the DWR (durable water repellent) finish sheds moisture.
The Down Sweater Hoody features 800-fill-power Traceable Down (European goose down traced from parent farm to apparel factory to help ensure the birds that supply it are not force-fed or live-plucked) stabilized through a quilted construction and protected by a superlight but tough, windproof and water-resistant shell fabric (100% recycled polyester ripstop) with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Pockets: two zippered handwarmers (the drawcord hem tightens from inside the pockets) and one interior zippered chest that doubles as a stuffsack with carabiner clip-in loop. With a single-pull adjustable hood and an updated, slightly longer and contoured fit.
It’s early-season in the Hoback, but above tree line, miles of snow-bound terrain awaits. For the trail-breaking journey, the Recycled Wool Parka uses 60% recycled wool with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish to shed light rain and snow and has nylon plain weave lining that blocks piercing wind. Quilted internal baffles are insulated with PrimaLoft® Gold ECO for warmth without bulk. The two-way, full-zip parka has a tall collar for additional protection. Raglan sleeves lend a modern look, while shoulder darts provide a tailored shape. Internal chest pocket with media port; adjustable internal waist drawcord is accessed through zippered hand pockets. Mid-thigh length.
You’ve tried positive reinforcement, time-outs and tough love, but still the weather is very, very bad. We suggest the Downtown Parka. To repel tantrum-like tempests, the long coat’s satiny polyester shell has a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Recalcitrant low temps? The 600-fill-power 100% Recycled Down (duck and goose down reclaimed from down products) can deal with it. The 2-way adjustable insulated hood sets limits on disobedient wind gusts. On-seam zippered handwarmer pockets and interior zippered chest pocket store essentials, such as a hip flask. The Parka’s shiny shell and puckered, overstuffed baffles make you feel in charge even when you’re not. Straight hem hits above the knee.
Conditions above the 45th parallel frequently fluctuate from a steady drizzle to piercing cold, but the H2No® Performance Standard Vosque 3-in-1 Parka maintains its elegance throughout. This versatile, insulated 3-in-1 coat offers three options: wear the 2-layer waterproof/breathable, windproof shell together with the zip-out, Thermogreen®-insulated parka; or wear each on its own. Adjustable, snap-on hood for warmth; tall, zip-through stand-up collar lies flat when unsnapped. The waterproof shell has a center-back seam and shoulder yoke for a shaped, feminine fit. The zip-out jacket features flattering princess seams and gradation of horizontal baffled quilt lines from neck to hem. Adjustable cuffs and on-seam handwarmer pockets with hidden zippers secure valuables.
Teach a two-year-old to ski instead of shoveling a steep, snowy driveway. Made from an H2No® Performance Standard 2-layer stretch twill shell with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the hoody is lined with recycled polyester semi-dull ripstop with a DWR finish and insulated with Traceable Down (600-fill-power duck down sourced from ducks that are traced from parent farm to apparel factory to help ensure the birds that supply it are not force-fed or live-plucked, as certified by NSF, an independent third party). A double adjustable hood is also insulated with this down for added warmth. A triple wind flap zip front has a double chest pocket with hidden media pocket. Articulated sleeves add mobility. Cozy handwarmer pockets secure with zippers. Drawcord at hem and cuff tabs are adjustable. With a beautiful, close-to-body, elegant fit, this warm winter coat can go from driveway to Broadway.
The icy temperatures at Jay Peak might send your motivation plummeting. But you can keep your inner fire stoked in the soft warmth and protection of the Primo Down. It’s our warmest and most sheltering insulated hard-shell jacket for riding in cold, ugly conditions. This season’s updated, articulated silhouette combines a durable, 2-layer waterproof/breathable and windproof GORE-TEX® fabric with an insulating layer of warm Traceable Down (goose down traced from parent farm to apparel factory to help ensure the birds that supply it are not force-fed or live-plucked) to keep your psych high as the temperature drops low. A DWR (durable water repellent) finish casts off water and saturated snow, and an internal nylon lining manages moisture and glides smoothly over underlayers. The 2-way-adjustable, helmet-compatible hood has a laminated visor for optimal visibility; the Cohaesive® cord-lock system embeds cord locks in hood and hem for quick and easy adjustment. Slim Zip installation with watertight, coated zippers on the pockets and pit zips reduce bulk and weight while Vislon® zippers on the center-front and chest pockets are burly tough and easy to use. Other features include ventilating pit zips; a removable, fully adjustable, low-profile powder skirt; a goose down–filled draft collar for additional warmth and protection; and an embedded RECCO® avalanche rescue reflector. There are six zippered pockets: two handwarmers, one chest (includes a secure media pocket with cable routing), one on the forearm, and one interior stash, plus one interior drop-in for gloves or goggles.
Built to work from sunup to sundown, our new All Seasons Hemp Canvas Chore Coat is made from a 9.6-oz 55% industrial hemp/27% recycled polyester/18% organic cotton blend that needs no break-in and offers the toughness, comfort and breathability needed for warmer-weather work. One of the world’s strongest natural fibers, the hemp content provides remarkable durability; the recycled polyester and organic cotton provide a soft drape and allow a tighter weave for increased abrasion resistance. Buttoning up with 4-hole metal shank buttons on the center-front placket, the coat has an open lower back hem for increased freedom of movement. The generous collar can be flipped up for additional protection from sun or wind. A left-chest pocket with button closure and two lower-front drop-in pockets provide ample carry capacity; two hidden side-entry handwarmer pockets are set behind the front pockets; one internal drop-in pocket gives you a place to stash your phone, wallet and keys. Adjustable cuffs. Fair Trade CertifiedTM sewn.
One minute the wind howls and your breath freezes, and a second later the clouds part and the sun shines. A shoulder-season staple, our Ultralight Down Jacket features 800-fill-power Traceable Down (European goose down traced from parent farm to apparel factory to help ensure the birds that supply it are not force-fed or live-plucked) and an ultralight nylon ripstop shell fabric that’s nearly half the weight and twice the strength of our other down shell fabrics. The sewn-through construction, tight channel pattern and just the right amount of down increase versatility for use in more moderate temperatures and diverse activities, while a DWR (durable water repellent) finish sheds snow. A slim silhouette maximizes thermal efficiency and suits its ideal uses: belay jacket over light layers at shaded crags, minimalist summer alpine bivies and unmatched warmth layered under a shell. Pockets include two zippered handwarmers and one zippered chest. The jacket self-stuffs into the left handwarmer to become a travel pillow, and into the chest pocket for storage, with carabiner clip-in loop. A drawcord hem keeps in the heat.
Sophisticated and athletic, this coat is made from a highly compressible 2.5-layer, 100% recycled nylon fabric with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish that refuses to wrinkle. Weatherproofing details include an adjustable, removable hood that secures with hidden snaps and a full-length snapped placket complete with a 2-way zipper and storm flap. Articulated elbows allow freedom of movement; cuff tabs have 2-position snaps. Princess seaming creates a feminine silhouette. Two flapped patch pockets on the front secure with snaps. Above-the-knee length.
With a sweater-knit face and a fleece interior, this moisture-wicking vest is spun from heathered yarns dyed with a low-impact process that significantly reduces the use of dyestuffs, energy and water compared to conventional dyeing methods. Smooth polyester jersey trims the wind flap, armholes, hem and zippered handwarmer pockets. Feminine seaming offers a contoured fit. Deep interior drop-in pockets stash cell phone and cash. Hip length. Fair Trade CertifiedTM sewing.
Efficiency in the alpine means simulclimbing, speedy belay transitions and, of course, exceptional insulation. Our Fitz Roy Down Jacket uses 800-fill-power Traceable Down (European goose down traced from parent farm to apparel factory to help ensure the birds that supply it are not force-fed or live-plucked). It’s baffled in the core, with high-loft quilting in the arms, allowing the down to trap your heat inside the 100% nylon shell. A tall collar adds warmth, and the redesigned patterning creates a sleeker silhouette. Underarm gussets improve range of motion and the center-front zipper (now 2-way) has an internal storm flap and a soft, kissing-welt zipper garage with a microfleece-lined chin flap for next-to-skin comfort. A drawcorded hem seals in warmth, and the handwarmer pockets close with zippers. An interior chest pocket stashes smaller items, and a large, internal, drop-in stretch-mesh pocket warms frozen gloves. Soft, low-profile, internal elastic-bound cuffs push up easily, and the included stuffsack has a built-in clip-in loop. The DWR (durable water repellent) finish helps shed snow.
Montana’s Big Sky terrain can take your breath away. Not just from the chute-to-thrill vertical, but from the penetrating cold. Keep the heat turned on with the furnace-like warmth of the Pipe Down Jacket. This fully waterproof jacket provides the ultimate combination of warmth, weather-stopping performance and descent-oriented details (in addition to slope appeal). It has a durable yet soft 2-layer recycled polyester micro-twill weave shell fabric that provides complete waterproof/breathable protection and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish to stop moisture and increase abrasion resistance. Insulated with cozy 600-fill-power 100% Recycled Down (duck and goose down reclaimed from down products), it traps your heat to stay warm when the temperatures drop, stuffs easily into a pack and feels weightless. The 2-way-adjustable, helmet-compatible hood has a low-profile visor for optimal visibility on the way down, and pit zips allow a cooling airflow when you’re hiking back up again. A removable, lightweight stretch-woven powder skirt seals out spindrift and wind; it has a webbing loop to connect to any Patagonia® Snow pants. Articulated patterning throughout the arms lets you move freely and a comfortable microfleece panel lining the neck adds a soft touch for exposed skin. The pocket lowdown: two handwarmers (with a brushed lining for comfort and warmth), one chest (includes cable routing for your ear buds) and an interior drop-in for gloves or goggles. Includes an embedded RECCO® avalanche rescue reflector, a drop-tail hem and an articulated, feminine silhouette.
