Each piece is carefully crafted, like the bed featuring curved molding, lathe-turned feet and a headboard with wood plank details. Like all of our furniture, the collection is built to our exacting standards of quality, design and longevity. Each finish is crafted with a combination of solid spruce wood, MDF with solid rubberwood feet. Kiln-dried wood helps prevent warping, splitting, cracking and developing mildew. Finished in child-safe, water-based paint which provides durability, depth of color and richness to each piece of furniture. We use medium density fiberboard for sustainability and structural support. GREENGUARD Gold Certified: Meets or exceeds stringent chemical emissions standards. Bed is crafted with a curved, stepped headboard and lathe-turned feet. Mattress platform is made of 100% solid poplar wood in slat-roll for extra strength; designed for use with or without a box spring. Mattress and box spring are sold separately. The trundle (sold separately) provides a comfortable extra bed for overnight guests when used with our Lullaby Trundle Mattress (sold separately). Trundle also offers generous storage space for toys, clothes, bedding and more when used without a mattress. Trundle is fitted with rolling casters that make it easy for kids to open up and put away by themselves.
