Once in a blue moon we come across a neon sign with porcelain enamel face plates and we get very excited. Compounded with the maroon enamel face plate is the fact that this is a combination neon and bulbed sign: the rare, one-two punch of antique signage! This holy grail of vintage signs proudly advertises ENTRANCE and once pointed the way toward a mid-century Drive-In movie theater. This sign is all original but for the wiring and the neon tubes - finish and construction are all in place, but we've restored the wiring and neon to full glory so that it will glow for many more years to come. Originally, this sign was mounted on a tall pole, and the flanges at the center of the sign would have screwed into that post. We left those flanges for fear of damaging the structure of the canister, but added two new flanges on either end to allow you to hang the sign however you'd like.
