Product Description Belt combining a carved piece of natural horn* with a strap of hand-stitched English bridle leather. The horn piece sits at the back (or front), and is held by two real handmade bridle pieces on each side. From the other side it shows as a simple black leather strap with small metal belt buckle. The natural colors of this variety of horn range from translucent honey to opaque white. Of course every piece is unique and shows a slightly different pattern. The horn piece is made in Vietnam, the bridle piece is made in the UK. This belt also exists in a more narrow style, or in all black horn. *This horn is from a particular breed of cows, which are farm animals. They are not killed for their horn. She started her design career at Alexander McQueen and is now one of the artists contributing to the iconic scarves collections by Hermès Paris. ARLETTE ESS is her own luxury accessories label. All the scarf designs are based on originals of indian ink artworks. The drawings have an emphasis on texture, which translate into intricate, refined prints with an understated elegance. The label started with her signature fur prints. Arlette often uses animals as subjects, but is interested in the stories and meanings we project into them.
