Johanna Ortiz' 'Endless Summer' hat is rendered in natural Palma de Iraca fibers originating from the designer's native Colombia. Crafted by the Sandoná community, the men are in charge of picking the fibers from the fields and the women are in charge of dying them, resulting in a variety of colors. The silhouette of this hat is inspired from Jipijapa in Ecuador. Its wide woven brim ends in wild fringe that fans out around your face and the ombré effect pairs nicely with a printed swimsuit.
