One of our earliest products was a wearable musical pendant, launched in the late 1980s, before we were known as Areaware. It was made from a silver chimingsphere, discovered by Areaware co-founders Lisa Yashon and Noel Wiggins in the markets of Taxco, Mexico, a mountainside silver-working town. In 2016, Areaware reintroduces the chiming sphere as Harmonyware, a line of jewelry newly designed by Michael Savona.
Inspired by a ring-shaped hip flask from the 19th century, this porcelain design lets you accessorize with a shot's worth of your favorite spirits. A gunmetal-inspired finish topped with a cork creates visual intrigue while the hollow center encourages coffees made Irish and tea turned to toddies. Made in China.
