Although best known for her elegant modernist tubular steel furniture of the 1920s and 1930s, Charlotte Perriand also experimented with materials and produced craft-based designs during the three decades spent collaborating with Le Corbusier Group. In 1940, while living and working in Japan, Perriand conceived of the Outdoor Tokyo Chaise, a reinterpretation of Le Corbusiers LC4 Chaise Longue – but it was never produced. That is, until now. In 2012, more than 60 years later, Tokyo was put into production for the first time. Available in bamboo or teak, Tokyo is a fanciful combination of nature and the rational aesthetic of the International Style. Sitting atop a solid-wood base, its seat is composed of 12 curved wooden strips, which are connected to the curved bars below using satin brass studs. The seat pad and headrest are covered in water-draining, UV-resistant Sunbrella® fabric. Each piece is signed and numbered and, as a product of Cassina's Masters Collection, is manufactured by Cassina under exclusive worldwide license from the Le Corbusier Foundation. Made in Italy. A protective, water-repellant cover is included. Materials: Bamboo or teak frame; stainless-steel buckle; satin brass studs; Sunbrella Plein Air fabric. Measurements:H 25.5" W 59" D 25.75"
DWR Exclusive Sol y Luna (1954) is an adaptation of Dan Johnson's Gazelle Collection, which was originally offered in wood or bronze, both with woven caning for the seat and back. However, due to the high cost of production and the intense hand labor involved, fewer than 150 pieces from the Gazelle line were ever produced. Now made in durable cast aluminum by outdoor manufacturer Brown Jordan, the design maintains Johnson's comfortable organic form. These pieces are shaped with the body in mind. The Lounge Chair back wraps around you, and the seats are comfortably sloped for support in a relaxed position. Seat Pad sold separately. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Made in Mexico. Materials: Cast aluminum with powder-coated finish. SEAT PAD, 100% solution-dyed acrylic Suncloth® fabric. Measurements:H 27'' W 24" D 28'' Seat H 14" Arm H 20"
DWR Exclusive The Kayu Teak Dining Table (2009) is a combination of straightforward design and robust natural wood. Crafted of solid planks of teak, these pieces are left unfinished to allow for an inviting patina that requires very little maintenance, just soap and water. Both the Dining Table and coordinating bench (sold separately) are made from Indonesian teak, which is harvested from strictly managed plantations, ensuring the woods sustainable origins. Assembly required. The warmth of the straightforward, all-wood design complements modern or traditional interiors. Through sanding – which is the only processing done to this wood – natural oils are brought to the surface to create an incredible luster. Designed to coordinate with the Kayu Teak Bench (sold separately), but can also be paired with a variety of seating solutions. Materials: Solid, unfinished teak. Measurements:H 30" W 78.75" D 39.5"
DWR Exclusive When we asked Matthew Hilton to identify the common elements found in his work, he replied, Functional, stackable, it has to store easily and be a good price. Seeing a need for durable outdoor furniture at accessible prices, Hilton created the Eos Collection (2011), which is sleek enough to work in an indoor dining space, as well. Eos is lightweight – literally and visually – smartly proportioned and very comfortable. Certain to inspire leisurely outdoor living during the long days of summer, this collection was named for Eos, the Greek goddess of dawn and bringer of light. Its constructed of powder-coated aluminum that wont rust over time. The Bench is designed for use with the Rectangular Table. Made in China. Materials: Powder-coated aluminum; plastic floor glides. The Eames® Aluminum Group Collection (1958) began as a special project for Eero Saarinen and Alexander Girard, who needed seating for a home they were designing for industrialist J. Irwin Miller in Columbus, Indiana. The request was for leisure chairs light enough to move from indoors to out and strong enough to withstand the elements. At the time, the Eameses were exploring ways to use aluminum, which had been strengthened, refined and made more affordable since WWII. They constructed a lightweight die-cast frame for the project, then wrapped it in a sling – a sitting pocket that subtly conforms to the bodys shape. The result was a completely new type of seat and a departure from the idea of a chair as solid shell. While the original concept was for outdoor seating, the Eameses quickly recognized its possibilities for indoor use. However, in 2012, Herman Miller returned the Aluminum Group to its original intent, with new materials suitable for outdoor use. Constructed of 61% recycled materials, this chair is also 90% recyclable at the end of its useful life. Backed by a 12-year manufacturers warranty. This is an authentic Eames chair by Herman Miller. Made in U.S.A. Features: 360-degree swivel base; PVC-free Outdoor Weave fabric designed to hold its shape and color over time. Materials: Four-star powder-coated die-cast aluminum base and frame; Outdoor Weave mesh upholstery. Measurements:H 33" W 23" D 18" Seat H 18.5"

DWR Exclusive Based in Valencia, Spain, Borja Garcia is the founder of a multidisciplinary design studio and a professor in architecture and industrial design. “We are a team led by passion,” Garcia says of his staff, a group drawn together by their shared belief in research and working slowly to find the best solution instead of the fastest. Evoking the slim shape of a sail, his Stack Collection (2014) is an elegant amalgam of strength and grace. It’s noted for chairs with sling seats constructed of Batyline mesh, a supremely hardwearing outdoor textile praised for its exceptional tear strength, ability to retain shape and resistance to fading and mildewing season after season. Due in very large part to this durable mesh from French company Serge Ferrari, a leading manufacturer of composite materials, Stack is more than able to stack up to sun, salt and rain. The collection is rounded out with equally durable tables fitted with tough, low-maintenance phenolic resin tops. Suitable for residential and commercial use. Lounge Chair stacks up to three high.
