STAY COOL WITH NATURAL FLEXIBILITY The ultra-breathable Nike Free TR Breathe Women's Training Shoe helps keep your foot cool when you workout. This shoe is super-lightweight yet features the stability and flexibility you need for more natural multidirectional movement during Nike Training Club, cardio and strength training. Multidirectional Movement Deep flex grooves along the length and width of the outsole allow for easy multidirectional movement while delivering a more barefoot-like feel and flexibility. Rubber pods at the heel and forefoot along with a training-specific traction pattern allow for multidirectional traction on a variety of surfaces. Support A lightweight foam package in the upper is denser in areas where you need support and less dense where you need flexibility. Raised arch foam on the medial side lends added support and stability. Ventilation The mesh top layer of the upper is ultra-breathable to help keep the air flowing when your workout heats up and lets you see the unique design of the foam underneath. Low Profile The low-profile midsole gives you a closer-to-the-ground feel while providing cushioning and comfort. It's durable enough to double as an outsole, dramatically reducing the overall weight of the shoe. Nike Free Origins After learning that Stanford athletes had been training barefoot on the university's golf course, three of Nike's most innovative and creative employees set out to develop a shoe that felt natural and weightless, similar to bare feet. In 2002, they examined a group of men and women with pressure-measuring insoles taped to their feet, using high-speed cameras to capture images of each foot in motion. The team spent eight years studying the biomechanics of shoeless running. The results yielded a profound understanding of the foot's natural landing angle, pressure and toe position, allowing Nike designers to build an unconventional and flexible running shoe from the inside out. More Benefits Sweat-wicking mesh at the tongue for reduced lace pressure and to help keep feet dry Minimal seams for reduced irritation
